The computer I was using at the time allowed me to open several different Cool Edit windows at once. I would select some samples, swap between the windows and alter the samples at random. There was no sequencing software used, so rhythms and timings are all over the place, which is just how I like it! All tracks were recorded using the "Challenge 30" (C30) concept. Samples had to be chosen, then tracks recorded and finished, all within 30 minutes.
Some tracks were later used in other projects, so there are a handful of duplicates.
The cover was a doodle that I drew during a meeting at work. I was most amused years later to see almost the same design appear in Denholm Reynholm's office (The IT Crowd).
